Genesis Studios signs MOU with HS Media for TPIR TV Game Show

Genesis Studios, the producer of The Price Is Right Nigeria has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HS Media. The partnership will see HS Media providing and designing the set for The Price Is Right Nigeria game show.

Speaking at the event, the MD Genesis Studios, Olatubosun David Olaegbe stated he is excited to work with HS Media as they provide a standard studio for the TPIR Nigeria and looks forward to many more partnerships with the company.

While signing the contract, the Chief Executive Officer, HS Media Group, Taye Ige said: “The Price Is Right when an enthusiastic buyer meets an enthusiastic seller and in between them there is the issue of capability.”

The Chief Operating Officer of HS Media, Robert Paltiel said that this is the first show of this magnitude coming to the HS Media studio in Nigeria.

The MOU was signed by the Managing Director of Genesis Studios, Olatubosun David Olaegbe, Executive Producer of the show, Abraham Praise, the Chief Executive Officer HS Media, Taye Ige and the Chief Operating Officer, HS Media, Robert Paltiel.

“The Price is Right” is the longest running family game show in history and has won twenty daytime Emmys; it has also been tagged the number one daytime show in United States. The format has been sold to 42 territories worldwide with Nigeria being the first in sub-Sahara Africa.

It has a wide variety of games with a basic challenge of guessing the prices of everyday consumer commodities for a chance to win fantastic prizes. It features contestants, all of whom are picked from the audience, who come from different parts of the country and a fun host.
